The Paroli roulette strategy works along the same lines as the martingale strategy, only in reverse, making it a 'positive' roulette strategy.  The initial bet is of one unit, and this increases after a win rather than a loss.

Before playing using the Paroli method, you must determine two things, one, how many units you are going to raise your bet after each win, and two, what bet size you are going to reach before you take your winnings and drop back down to the original one bet starting level.  The best figures for these can vary from game to game, an in fact when playing roulette will vary according to which bets you are playing.

My advice is: If you are playing even money bets, to double your bet after each win, and continue until your stake size has reached 32 units and make this your last bet. (This is actually a Parlay system).  If you are playing any of the other bets, increase your unit size by half the amount you won, and continue until you have had 4 winning bets in a row.  The odds of hitting these bets are obviously worse than the even-money bets, and by saving half your winnings you will be able to show a profit even when you don't have 4 winning bets.

I believe this system to be superior to the martingale, as whilst using this strategy you will have times when you lose a number of units in a row, there is also the possibility of a reasonable size win, which the martingale does not offer.  It's not a solid winning system like the one I offer for free on this site, but it is more fun to play, and I know some people who contact say they like to play this every so often purely for a bit of fun with the prospect of a decent win.
