La Boule - Old French Version of Roulette

La Boule is an old French version of roulette, still available in many casinos in France, but rarely found outside the country.  The game is played in a concanve ‘bowl’ which has a number of pockets in three different colours, and 9 numbers offering different outcomes.  A fairly large rubber ball (at least compared to a normal roulette ball) is spun around the bowl, before dropping into one of the pockets. Zero House Edge Roulette - Roulette with no Zero

Up until recently the concept of a playing roulette with no zero would have been unthinkable, the general options available were American Roulette which has of course 0 and 00, European Roulette (also called single zero roulette), or occasionally French Roulette, which has a single zero but also the ‘La Partage’ rule which means that any ‘even-money’ bets return half the stake if 0 is the winning number.
